Writing: an article DEADLINE EXTENDED

NEW DEADLINE FOR THIS ESSAY IS FRIDAY 19th

It's the last writing! Come on!!

Write an article comparing two types of entertainment. Examples:

  • Live music vs. recorded music.
  • Classical music vs. pop music.
  • Watching a movie at home or at the cinema.
  • Watching a football match at home, in a stadium or in a bar.
  • Football vs. basketball.
  • Any two types of entertainment that you want.

What's the difference between an article and an opinion essay?

  • In both cases you give your opinion about something.
  • An article is more informal.
  • In an article you give personal examples.
  • Typically an article starts with a question in the first paragraph, to grab the reader's attention.
You have more ideas and a model text on pages 112-113 of your book.

Deadline for this is May 16th.
